Just As Sweet

All I could feel was the slight pain.
In that moment, in that time,
I made a fist,
But I didn't dare
Make a move.
I held onto your shoulder tight,
The feeling still being so sweet.
The sight if it,
Unusual yet comfortable.
I didn't mind it one bit.
When the night was over,
I layed in my bed.
I realized I should've savored
The feeling of this sweet pain.
Because at that moment,
As I layed in bed,
That slight pain was all I wanted to feel.
And I remembered,
As your lips moved back up to mine,
Our hands intertwined,
And your lips tasted just as sweet.
The pain seemed to be all I need.
