If I just stand in the rain,
Maybe I'll loosen this pain.
If I just stand my ground,
There's no way I'll drown.
I'm gonna keep walkin
Down this street.
Wait for the sunshine to arise.
Maybe then I'll be able to look
Into the skies
And not have these tears fall
Down my face.
Nor let these tears be
Covered up by the rain
Pouring down.
I'm determined to stand my ground.
