By the sounds of the music,
With pictures of you in my mind,
I realized listening
To these rhythms flow
Really sets my mood right.
Within my heart
And deep within my soul,
Music takes a stand
And helps let my spirit flow.
I sing these tunes
And my heartbeat slows down.
With every word I sing,
My thoughts stream of you
And my whole day just turns around.
I see your smile on
The surface of my thoughts.
I hear my heart,
It said, "has the world just stopped?"
I continue on to hear the music,
To feel its rhythm and its beat.
I think of you while I sing every note,
Making my heart and mood fly to its feet.
