A World That Rests On Ignorance

The world is changing
Right before our eyes.
I see the change, the message, the cries.
Being burned alive by our own destruction,
The time is coming where the Earth
Will become nothing.
Reconstructed by the palm of His hand.
Holding the day of judgment in this very land.
This world He created will no longer stand tall.

The Masquerade Ball

It will be a night to remember.

Together downtown, taking pictures.

Listening to the sound of my heels,

Forgetting about everything besides the feeling

Of us being together.

Dressed nice, shined shoes,

Black dress and sun-caressed skin

On this October afternoon.

Knowing full and well that 

Our evening is coming soon.

Laughing, joking around with eachother,

He's My Bestfriend

He's the bestfriend I'd never want to lose.
He's my soulmate, the one who could fill my shoes.
The way he loves me is like a million butterflies.
They scatter all in different ways, but at night,
They settle in one place, and a smile brightens my eyes.
When he hugs me, it feels as if he would never let go.
When he kisses me, it feels as though they'll never get old.

Potion Number Zero

Sometimes I'm all alone in a vacant room,

Stirring nothing new but an old brew.

Finding portions to key ingredients,

To create something to have some kind of

Allegiance. 

At the end of the day,

I tend to have to start all over again.

Finding nothing except a part to an

Old end. 

I'm a witch, waiting for that special

Rendezvous. 

But here I am, stirring this same old brew

Like a fool.

At the end of the day,

All I am is a witch wanting to find

A potion to bring back youth again.

But the ingredients were never found,

The potion never brewed abound.

So there I go, flying through the night

Back to lonely rooms lacking longing abundance,

And you realize, youth can never come twice.
