Today is such a short day
Without seeing you.
I look at the pictures
Of when I saw you,
Sitting in front of me.

I miss every moment,
Teachers telling us,
"Don't hold hands."
I look out my window,
Wondering where I am.

Enchanting

Beautiful skies,
Showing an enchanting red,
Mixed with more colors,
Devouring the skies over our head.

We lay in the grass
Waiting for the sun to set,
As we laugh and smile,
We didn't want the day to be over yet.
I roll to my side,
Your smile glistening wide.
I take your hand,
Pressing you closer to land.
My lips moving deeper to meet yours.
Your head slowly moving up,
Wanting to feel more.

Beautiful night skies
Showing an enchanting dark blue,
Mixed with shining stars,
And a crescent moon.

Laying in the grass only looking at you.

Our Own Little World

It's something special,
It's especially unique.
It's the way you are,
Your smile, your physique.
The way you stand over my head,
The way you hug me tight from behind.
The way you are sweet, gentle and kind.

Our love is truly spoken.
This love will never be broken.
My heart sings of true love;
You're the only one I could ever dream of.

Because without you,
It's just me and the world.
There would be no secret place.
There would be no 'Our own little world'.
Together is where our
Lives have pulled forward,
Stepped up to the plate,
Swung the ball out into the field,
And slid to the 1st base not yet ready for home.
This is where our paths have shone.
